Pironkova eliminated the third seed of the tournament !

(RO)  Venita din calificari, jucatoare bulgara, Tsvetana Pironkova accede in semifinalele turneului de la Sydney ! Dupa ce a trecut in primul tur de Shahar Peer intr-un meci dificil, incheiat in 3 seturi 6-3 6-7 6-3  , si in turul doi de Sorana Cirstea surprinzator in 2 seturi facile 6-4 6-1 , iar in urmatorul tur de Varvara Lepchenko 6-3 6-2 , tanara bulgaroaica isi continua traseul mai departe in turneu si seria castigatoare de meciuri , adaugandu-si o noua mare victorie ,  impotriva favoritei 3  Sarra Errani cu un categoric 7-6 6-3 !  Astfel , Pironkova isi asigura un loc in semifinale, acolo unde va juca impotriva Petrei Kvitova, meci ce se va disputa Joi, 09.01.14 !
